'The Best of the Classical Brits' was a free CD given away in conjunction with The Mail on Sunday to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Classical Brits.

This was one of the most successful Mail on Sunday covermounts increasing circulation by 295,000.

The Media Spot worked closely with the BPI to encourage artists such as Faryl Smith, Katherine Jenkins, Jose Carreras and Russell Watson to take part and raise money for the children’s charity, The Brit Trust, for their charitable causes.

Alongside this covermount, The Media Spot also ran a competition in the paper to win a selection of albums from the artists who appeared on the anniversary CD.

Tracks on the CD included performances from Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkins, Bryn Terfel and Jose Carreras.
